Anyone have a good idea of where I can get a set of V8 Torsion Bars. I have covered every Salvage yard within 125 miles of me and nothing. Love how our Trucks have really nothing out there for them..

Engine is out and trying to get the front suspension replaced before putting the engine and trans back in..

There will be no new replacements. Your best bet is junkyard, or www.ebay.com or www.craigslist.org Since you said none of the yards around you have it, check to see if they can order one from another yard.

 

I feel your pain, kh. I do wish we easily get parts for our Dakotas. Let us know how it goes.

 

My truck is a v6. I have one v8 torsion bar and lower control arm installed and can't notice a difference. I had one from a parts truck and didn't want to go buy a v6 one.
