Default 5.2 tb on a 3.9?

Ok so ive been told numerously to throw a v8 throttle body on my 3.9 for a bit mor power well its looking like I'll be getting a free one and I just wanted to know specifics like how much torque is it high end or low end how much hp and how does it affect my mpg and is it un bolt and bolt on pretty simple or does it take a while?? Any help will be nice

Oh ya and anyone know were I can get a sensor for a e fan from a 1993 torus that will be able to go in my 93 dakota

The V8 throttle body swap is a good swap. Probably it will only take 5 minuets to do. Don't know how much HP since I never had a V6. 2-3hp at higher rpms. The only thing to watch for on the throttle body is that the linkages will match. Its typically needs to be around the same year as yours.

As for the coolant sensor I think your talking about. It will have to be an universal one. Autozone or www.summitracing.com or www.ebay.com

I believe its a 92 not positive but I think so. Do you think it will be a noticeable difference?

Hi guys new to the forum i was wondering if anyone new of companies that ship headlights and tailight to alaska because i cant seem to find one that doess! HELP!!!

FWIW...I've never really understood why anybody with a V6 which has a 44mm bore opening in the intake manifold would think installing a V8 TB which has a 50mm opening at the base is going to increase performance? It's wishful thinking!
