I have read my Hans manual about changing my automatic transmission oil and when it ccomes to filling it up, it implies that I fill the transmissions thru the dipstick hole. Is that true?

thats right on the old one i would run the engine and run the shift lever throu all the gears, to fill all the ports in the trans. then put the lever in nurtral and then check the dip stick. this is the way it was done back when. but check the book for your year model. the chrysler trans is very for giving on oil level as long as it is not to low, mine is 2 tqs over now no trouble. try this EXTRNAL filter
