Default 318 Magnum swap and build

So this summer I will be pulling the 318 out of my 1993 parts truck, and putting it into my 1991. The engine has 100,000km on it. While I have it out I want to get a bit more power out of it, nothing to crazy though, as it is still just used for towing, off roading, hunting, fishing, etc.

Off the hop swapping to a Magnum engine should give me a nice bump in power. But on top of that I am thinking of doing the following:

Port Heads
Kegger Mod (possibly)
Camshaft
Mopar Performance PCM
Headers
Exhaust

I want to be able to use the Mopar Performance PCM, and not have to worry about getting a custom tune done. I e-mailed comp cams and they suggested this cam:

And these springs:

Now, I just wanted to get your guys opinion on these mods. I still want this to basically be a daily driver/off roader, and while I've done alot of work on vehicles, one thing I've never done is pick a cam to put into one. Will this cam play nice with the mopar performance PCM? I'm open to suggestions, so thanks for your help!

I don't know what the limitations are on the MP PCM's or if they even specify them. But I doubt that cam will be too much for it, it looks like a fairly mild cam.

Replace every gasket and seal. While you have the heads off to replace the head gaskets, have the valves ground, guides knurled, and new seals. It's a low mileage engine, but all the seals are 20+ years old and are ageing and drying out.

I don't know pcms as such, just remember that the old 318 turned into the new 5.2 right around 93, 94. So be sure that your 93 is compatible with your older truck/trans. and electronics. Should be OBD1 on all, but it doesn't hurt to ask questions before you spend a lot of money.

The truck has 480,000km on it but it had a new 318 from Chrysler put in about 10 years ago. I was debating giving it a once over, if I'm already pulling the heads though I just have the lower gaskets/seals left to do which isn't much. It has sat for a few years so before I pull it I'm gonna get it running, and do a compression test one it as well.

From what I've researched so far it should just be a matter of dropping in the engine and newer wiring harness and pcm. Transmission is the same hydraulically operated 46rh and the magnum engine has all the la engine motor mounts still.

Thanks for your help!
