HELP 95 dodge dakota v8 wont pass emission test

85% ethanol 15% gas. Depending on where you are in the country, there might not be any around you. My closest station is over 100 miles away.
there are lots of reasons to fail. bad o2 sensor, bad cat, timing is off, burning oil or antifreeze. if you still have the original cat, replace it and you will probably pass. I wish they did sniffer tests where i live. I have a car with OBD2 that fails because of a check engine light for a cat even though everything has been replaced. If they had the sniffer test in PA, it would pass with flying colors. On the OBD1 cars, if you have a cat, you pass. You could have a hollowed out cat and piles of smoke coming out of the exhaust and you would still pass.
