Default Rough start

V8 is having a real rough time starting I recently cleaned my iac I'm not sure if I may have done some thing there. It seem to be when it sits for about 5 hours or longer when I give it about half on the gas it starts quicker (less turn overs) but is still rough. Should I start with the spark plugs and work my way back?

Sure do a tune up then maybe the IAC if you have to press the throttle to get it to start or to keep it from stalling when you let go.

Today when I approached the first stop sign after starting at about 3-5 km/h so just before I stopped it felt like it lost all its guts it held like that for a 1-2 seconds but when I applied the gas it chugged a bit and went like it had no problem

Could that be the fuel filter? Is the filter internal or external?

I don't think it's fuel filter, I think it's fuel PUMP. But the filter (if on the outside of tank) is a good start. And cheaper.

Any update? Dropping the tank on the truck isn't that bad.

Update: I changed my idle rpm speed to a more comfortable idle I am replacing the spark plugs as to they are old and slightly out of gap. I personally believe it is me temperature sensors because i believe it only happens when it is cold. Has not happened for the last day or two
