Default 318 la heads

So I have an old 72er so 318 I was wondering if the heads bolt on to a 318 magnum? And benefits to this? Also it has a mild cam would that fit in mine as well? Any input is welcome! Thanks

Edit; any other things I should consider from this motor? It is complete.

From what I have read, the heads will bolt on but the intake mounting area is at a different angle so you can't use the Magnum intake with LA heads. I think you're going to have a problem with oiling also. One engine oils the rockers through the push rods, the other has an oil passage in the head. The Magnum cylinder heads breathe better so why would you want to use the LA heads?

I was just curious as to if the la's breathed better or not, so I guess it's better to stick with the magnum heads. Now would I be able to use that can or probably not?

I believe your older cam would be a long snout cam too for the fuel pump eccentric, so not sure how that would work.

Most people put the newer heads on their older la engines due to them breathing better, why would you want to go backwards?
