Question Steering?

I have a 1994 V8 SLT 2WD and I've had a constant power steering leak coming from the pump area (about a fill up a week) and I've put stop leak in the reservoir multiple times with no change.. and I was wondering what I should check first to fix the leak? Or should I just buy a new power steering pump? Thank you.

Is the pump leaking or are the hose connections bad? Get some brake cleaner to degrease the area and find out where it's leaking. Then repair or replace as needed.

Stop leak? in the power steering? Never heard of that. Been my experience that stop leak products almost never work well (sometimes on radiators it will get you home tho.) And they end up just adding to your work--you have to clean out the stop leak after you actually fix the problem.

brian is right stop leak is bad but the first thing I would look at is what kind of leak is it is it spraying out or just leaking? if its spraying then your feed hose is leaking if its just dripping then I would check the return hose it could just be dried out and cracked you could get lucky on that one and it would be a $3 fix
