Default low idle.

I have a 1995 Dakota 3.9 v6. After I have been driving for 10 or 15 minutes my idle drops so low that the oil light comes on. Does this sound like a bad idle control valve to everybody else?

Or a vacuum leak or a bad injector or weak spark or a bad throttle position sensor or a few other things. A low idle is symptomatic of many things on the OBD1 Dakotas, unfortunately.

Be that as it may, first thing I'd do is clean the idle air motor and its cavity. Sure can't hurt.
