Default 89 Dakota 318 magnum swap.

I need some help. I have bought a 93 d250 318 magnum that im going to put in my 89 dakota. The engine was complete without a wiring harness. Ive been told the 318 on the d250 magnum engines are wired on the opposite side and i went and bought a 93 318 dakota magnum harness to put with the d250 engine im putting in with my 89 dodge dakota. Will the engine harness interchange with the the d250 engine?

Lol man you don't want to know how long i searched for mine. I had a guy on ebay was selling a 93 dakota with a 318 he said he couldn't get it to start. I private messaged him about the harness because he said if no one was going to buy it he was going to part it out. well finally 6 months later he said if he didn't he would give me first dibs on the harness he kept his word. Took me a year to actually find one. I was glad i found mine. on top of that he only charged me 150 for it with free shipping.

Nothing special, probably just what he could find. I gotta start hanging out at the Pick a Part, there's money in wiring harnesses!

At places like Pick a Part, they have a price sheet for stuff, so that the harness for a 2010 Focus would be the same price as one for a 63 Galaxie or Newport. I don't know what they go for, but the last time I went to a U-pull it style yard, the stuff was ridiculously cheap, so I would imagine $25 plus the time to untangle it from the engine.

I got a handful of dash climate control panels for Dakotas for $8 each. The ones for the a/c models have switches that aren't available aftermarket.
