Default Brake help and Rad Please!!!

I did front brakes (pad and rotors) on my 93 dakota and on the way home i got off the freeway and they seamed to partially seize up and i came to a stop and i took of it tool alot to get the truck to move so i limped it home the best i could. Once i got home the upper tank on the rad blew. I just tried to re-seize the brakes but they wont. Any suggestions on what might have happened?

Make sure that you lubricate the two pins that mount the calipers. I use vaseline.
