I need the model number for the ac compressor, mine is not visible anymore. Just want to make sure I get the right parts. If someone can take a quick look at the model number on theirs and let me know? The manufacturer is Sanden.
Dakota Sport 2.5 4 cyl.
Thanks in advance for the help.

I guess SD709 is the type of compressor. The model number should be a 4 digit number, so I still need that.
Yes I can fix the clutch, I am replacing the bearing when shops open tomorrow. The clutch needs to be replaced too though. It has two broken pieces of on the armature plate, which is the first plate visible on the compressor
So I will be using the original pulley and bearing and also the coil is still good.
But I can buy all 3, coil, pulley and bearing and the clutch for 65 bucks on line, but they need the compressor number. A four digit number. Which in mine is faded.
In the meantime, I am going to a local yard here in Tucson and see if they have a donor vehicle.

I'd go out and look at mine, but its on a 5.2 engine and from what I can see on RockAuto, they don't interchange. I live on the eastside, so if you wanted to you could come see if you could spot the differences. When you look at the online pics, they look the same.
BTW, it looks like Autozone sells a bypass pulley setup.
Oh, and if you need to borrow one, I've got a vacuum compressor and a manifold set with a can adaptor for small cans of R134a.

Thanks Brian,
Just got back from the yard and I got the parts that I needed off a 1995 Jeep Cherokee, uses the same clutch, pulley and coil. Same compressor type. On the compressor, there is a number on the casting that reads 709T. Just had to do some research and find what other vehicles use the same compressor.
So I got the whole clutch assembly, coil, pulley and bearing, and the clutch. All for 12 bucks. I was sweating like a pig in a blanket though.
