Topper Interior Light
Well over the weekend I picked up my topper. Freaking love this thing!!

(Yes I know I'm mising a molding... Grrrr.. Anybody have one laying around?)
Anyways, there is an interior light and on the left side is a power and a ground wire. I'm thinking about installing a simple 12v switch but I'm wondering if there is a constant power wire in the trailer harness. Does anybody know? I would rather not have to run power wires from the cab or battery if I don't have too but I want this light to work even when the truck is not on.
Thoughts?

Not quite what you're looking for, but speaking from experience the light in most toppers is probably not quite as bright as a birthday candle. Go to Lowes and get a three pack of AAA LED tap lights and stick them wherever you want... So much better and no running wires!
I've been trying to find a topper like this one and trying to sell the tool box I got for my truck a few months ago. I really hate toppers on most trucks but for some reason looking at the ones that follow the roof line on these looks good.
As far as your lighting issue in a similar idea to ben I seen at harbor freight two days ago a battery powered light strip that has four lights with 6 leds in each that spin 360 degrees and pivot back and forth could light all four corners with one of those stuck in the middle. It was like 10$
