Default Wiper Linkage

I know this has been beat to death on here but... I was replacing all the bushings on my 90 Dakota and discovered that the drivers side that both arms connect to has a different bushing that goes on the arm that goes over to the passenger side. Its obviously got to be a donut type of bushing cause the arm fits thru it. Its also larger in diameter than the other three bushings. I have tried to make one but I'm not having mcuh success.

I found several threads online that say this particular bushing is no longer available. I also found this one listed by Dorman, part #49439 at Oriellys online. Does anyone know if this is the right one. It's $14 and I have to order it, it's not available locally.

I just replaced all of the bushings for my wiper linkage last Friday. I'm pretty sure you can use the same bushings but for this one you will need to drill a hole with I believe a 3/8 inch bit. My bits were askew in my case so not 100% just grab a few and see if it is the same diameter as the peg. Also not sure if you have but if you take the linkage out it's ALOT easier to do the job. If you haven't just take out the three bolts in front of the pegs that the wiper arms snap onto push them down and pull them out of the access hole on the passenger side.

I did this with bushings out of a universal kit.

Others said that a dodge/Chrysler/jeep dealer can sell you a complete kit for about 20 bucks.

Got the parts. Really simple repair, part number above is the correct part.
