hello everyone i am currently taking the steering gear out of my 95 dakota(which had already been replaced) and putting it in my 92 dakota, removal from the 95 was smooth, however removing the gear from the 92 not so much
my problem is removing the two main bolts that hold the gear on, on the '95 the bolts threaded into the frame but on the 92 they have those square type nuts on them( idk the proper term) and i have been unable to hold that nut still in order to get the bolt out. if anyone has an idea how to do this or has done it before i would love to hear about it
