I have a 95 dakota 4x4 with a 3.9 I want to put in a 5.9. Will a 5.9 from a durango work and if so what years will fit.

 

um... yes but not easy...... your truck is OBD1.... the Durango is OBD2 so you would need everything under the hood the tranny transferecase ect... rewiring inside for electrics unless ur lucky enough to find a manual shift and not an electronic.... oh my gawd BIG job.. IM IN!

find a older 5.9 from 95 down 96 went OBD2 this way its just underhood harness and sensors and computer :O

unless u want the block itself and convert it back to OBD1 but then its just as easy to find a old early 90's ram with the 360 in it :O
