Lightbulb Shelby Fastback Restoration

I bought this a while back and I am just getting to it, this does not make sense why is there a vent hose in this? It's only on one side:

You can see the hose in the middle that connects to the top:

The hose dumps out the bottom would this have gone through the bed?

Coincidentally the hose side is the most rusted so I am not sure how to go about this, the metal has to be removed and it is held on by the sunk female taps...if I pull those out they may not go back in they are pressed any ideas?

I believe the hose is a conduit...... add wiring ect.... the lund fastback I had for my 2002 was like that

as for the rust maybe just find thin piece acid clean that one so rust is gone seal it and glue another plate overtop?

Ahh I see, it is a light bar after-all.

That will not work on the rust it is rusted on the backside too and that is not accessible without removing the metal plus it is also bent.

question, where did you find that light bar, also can you find me some part numbers? my truck came with one from the dealer and it looked sharp with the front cab marker light bar. it was removed to haul a load of wood, ironically to keep it from getting damaged, and it was somehow broken in 3 pieces when i got back... now i cant seem to find that particular style anywhere except on Shelby dakotas.
chris.

I bought it used from someone who had it stored, you probably will not find one they ONLY came on the Shelby and Express Dakotas. They hold a value of up to and over $1,000 used mine came in 3 pieces by mail so yours might not be broken?

Send me some pictures of it, are any of the pieces not broken? Is the top connecting piece in one piece?

Nice! Looks good with a GenII clip, I have only seen one with a visor and it was a GenI clip.
