Default A998 rebuild kit

Does anyone have a recommendation for a rebuild kit for the A998 3 speed auto that comes in the 1987 Dakotas?

I was looking for rebuild kits and find stock rebuild kits but everyone seems to indicate that beefing up the transmission with stronger parts is desirable, especially if swapping to a V8 down the road.

I see the ATP TM15 and TMS15 kits available but should I be looking for something stronger? B&M only offers a Transpak for the 1971-1977 A904 and A999.

I'm looking for potential options when the time comes to refurbish the trans. It leaks now and does slip so it will be just a matter of time before a rebuild is necessary.

Oregon Performance Transmission looks to offer a performance rebuild kit for the A998/A999 transmission (OPT-TF6-RBHP). I don't know if it includes everything that you need to do a full on rebuild but seems to be a good place to start.

I wouldnt know. ive always swapped out transmissions because they are so cheap. if I ever have one rebuild it would be a chevy trans because theyre so damn expensive or if I have a shift kit installed but I probably wont do it myself.
