Proper Oil Weight for 1990 Dodge Dakota
I have a 1990 Dodge Dakota 5 sp manual transmission. I am having to now keep my eye on level of Tranny Fluid due to leaking. I am confused as to what is proper weight of oil. I have been told both 75-90 weight and as of yesterday at Jiffy Lube they said, 10w-30! I do not have any manual.

i have a 2001 dak 3.9 V6 auto trans, factory trans oil cooler. i like to run a thicker oil than recomended. i use valvoline 15w-40 diesel oil premium blue. it the factory fill for cummins diesel 5.9 in the dodge ram trucks. air temp over night was 15 F it started fine. AND it has your zinc in it.
