Well, old faithful was leaking antifreeze, so in shop. Needs water pump, heater core, timing chain cover gasket, some of the small hoses, etc. Will set me back about $800, but the old thing is worth it! Kind of hurt a bit to know all that was wrong, but hey, it's like me, a geezer now, so things are expected to wear a bit. Also like me, it ain't had nary easy life either! Rode hard and put up wet as they say. But, fed a healthy diet of full synthetics since a puppy. Anyway, be glad to get'er back come Monday.
While you're at it. I strongly recommend a new timing chain and chain tensioning device ( if applicable to your year). You may need to replace the serpentine belt tensioner as well.
