I recently got a code for a bad hall effect/pickup sensor after the truck left me stranded. Ive replaced the sensor and while I was trouble shooting for another problem I may have had I removed the battery leads. The truck is running now after all repairs but when I do the engine code check procedure (On and off ignition 3 times) its still showing me that the hall effect sensor is a problem and that the battery has recently been disconnected. Is there a way to reset the system?? Thanks in advance!

 

Disconnect the battery and hold the brake pedal for 15 seconds, then drive for 20mins without shutting the truck off and that should reset the pcm.
