95 automatic cruise control and overdrive
I use this forum a lot and it is very helpful. One point is the resolutions rarely get posted.
Most recently I had the neutral safety switch go out. I hot wired around the sensor. Sure the truck started, ran and I could start it with the truck in drive. I use the truck intermittently.
Recently the overdrive was not functioning. That was OK since I usually tow a trailer when I use the truck. In addition the cruise control had quit functioning also.
Turns out I had to buy a new neutral safety switch. This switch knocks out both cruise and overdrive. But the hot wire around will get you home when broken down.
