Default Overhead Console

Today at the junkyard I bought a console out of a 94 Dakota. I got the console, mounting bracket, temp sensor, and hopefully all the wiring. Has anyone ever hooked one up that didn't originally come on your truck from the factory that could help me wire this? The options on the console are outside temp, compass, and map lights. Here is a picture that may help:

Do you know what wires operate what feature? I do know that the green/blue and the purple/black go to the temp sensor out on the front of the truck. Any other advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I installed one. It wasn't too hard, the compass is internal to the unit, the temp sensor is located behind the grill in front of the radiator. You will need to wire it up all the way to the unit. There will be all time power and the input from the door switch. The FAQ has the service manual which has the wiring diagrams.

Here is the link to my install. I cut off the back half since the pockets are worthless (too small).

Thank you so much for the help! That service manual is exactly what I needed.

Mine was a plug and play affair. I pulled one from a '94 in the junkyard and took the console, wiring harness from the console to the dash (runs down the passenger A pillar to a space right behind the glove box) and the sensor with its small harness which the plug was already there for under the hood. What years did they offer the OHC?
