Can you take a motor from a 1996 dodge Dakota and out it in a 1995 dodge Dakota?

 

I'm assuming they are the same engine size, if so then the answer is Yes. The computer systems are different, but the engine is the same. I don't know if the plugs are different on the motors but use your stock wiring and sensors and pcm.
