Default Starting issues

I have a 94 Dakota 3.9 and when the engine is warm I have to put the throttle to the floor to get it to start then once it starts the idle might go up to 2k rpm the settle down and almost stall before it get to a normal 500 rpm idle.
I checked for error codes an it's showing 12, 17, 22 & 55.
12 & 55 I know are normal.
17 = Closed loop temp not reached or engine cold too long
22 = Engine coolant temp sensor out of range

I'm guessing I need to replace the coolant temp sensor but will that also correct the code 17 or is that another problem I'll have to deal with?

I would say the coolant temp sensor will clear both codes, the computer is keeping the truck in open loop cause the temp sensor is showing it never warms up. reset the computer after you change the sensor and then run it to temp and make sure you don't get the code again.
