Default lower control arm question

I have run into a snag getting the lower control arm off. I have it down to 1 bolt, but it is hitting the axle stub, see picture below. The FSM does not mention this. It seems to me I have 2 choices. 1. Cut the bolt and then reinstall in the opposite direction with a new bolt. Not sure about the availability of the bolt so I would need to check into that first. 2. Or remove the diff. cover, and pull the axle stub shaft out. This would be extra work, and the fluid is almost new.
Would like to hear from other's who have gone through this as well.

I didn't run into that specifically, but maybe unbolt that side of the axle and try to jack it up enough for clearance. Next option is to unbolt the diff cover and unbolt the center pin and remove the C-Clip on that side and pull out the axle shaft.

Looking at your pictures, Id say you didn't have this problem!! I never really thought about unbolting that side and raising the diff. I will look closer and try that.
I went to my local hardware store. They had a bolt but not hardened. Just standard.
Thanks for your advise.
