Default Taillight wiring help

I've lost my taillight circuit, fuse 5 on the block. Everything is out on that circuit. I have power on both sides of the fuse and on the backside of the fuse block. It looks from the wiring diagram that the pink wire coming from the fuse goes to the headlight switch directly from the fuse block and then the circuit is operated by the head light switch. I have power at the fuse block on the pink wire but not at the switch. Is it as easy as running a parallel wire along the harness or does it go anywhere else and I'm missing it on the diagram?

I cut the wire on both ends and ran a parallel wire to both ends, fixed the problem. Now let's see if it holds for a few days.
