Default 1987 Dakota upgrading to 318 and 4 wd

Hello i have an 87 dakota chassis 2wd with the 2.2 L engine with NV2500 5 speed transmission.

I have a 318 with automatic transmission, transfer case from a 1992 Dakota LE 4wd

I know ill need new engine mounts, rear differential. Will the tranny crossmember work? Any ideas what else ill need? My end goal is to put my 58 dodge D200 on top of this chassis once done. Am i completely making it more complicated, should i just leave it 2wd? Also..any thought on rebuilding the 2.2. Can i add a turbo to this?

I know alot of questions... i cannot decide what is the most realist choice.

will neeed complete front end off a 4x4 as its 100% different suspension its a BIG job, much eaiser to do a solid axle conversion ( doing this to a 91 Dakota when I get enough money ) but unless you can fabricate and weld.. ur into a few grand just to get off the ground ..

would be easier to get a 4x4 frame or a rolling chassis ... if want to stick to the Dakota IFS suspension
