So I can only turn my dome light on by opening the doors and cant turn it off when the doors are open. Ways to fix this?

 

Are you sure you're turning the **** all the way? It makes a click almost

I can't shut mine off when the doors are open either. Think it's wired to be that way.

 

yea its an old truck, its not like new vehicles that it can be shut off or automatic shutoff the dimmer is to turn it on when doors are closed... that's it.. when doors are open either pull the fuse or close the door LOL or pull the bulb before it heats up.

98 TJ.. when I remove doors.... I gotta pull the fuse.. but I wired in a switch to disable since fusebox is behind glovebox..
