DIY Complete Body Mounts for the technically and/or financially challenged.
#11
A long overdue update to this thread, prompted by a post by 318_dakota. The mounts have been perfect. They shifted a little at the beginning but it was just the mount settling in. Since torquing them down the second time they haven't budged. I recently went around the truck and checked every single bolt for tightness and the cab mounts were still solid. I do not notice any flex, and while I'm sure the ride is harsher than with the stock squishy mounts, I don't perceive a difference.
The exposed wires in the tire are rusting, not that it makes a bit of difference, but if aesthetics are important to anyone, you should do something to make the mounts look more professional.
