Default Some fuel system problems

I have a 1993 dakota 3.9l v6 magnum I ended up getting a hole in my gastank so I purchased a aftermarket gas tank a inline fuel pump a aeromotive universal bipass fuel regulator the inline fuel pump says it pushes 50 pounds of fuel pressure and after hooking it all up I can drive a short while before it starts dying at higher rpms but if I turn the truck off then back on it runs fine for a short while when it's acting up I can push the gas to the floor and all it will do is try to die any help is greatly greatly appreciated

I don't think you are getting enough fuel.

A quick search on Google shows you should be getting 39-41psi at idle, and the deadhead (maximum output) for the '93 was 75psi. You said the pump you got does 50 psi so that would be my guess. It's more than enough for idle, but as you push that pedal down, it won't be able to keep up.
