Distributor 180 Degrees Off???

Yeah, I know. When I installed the timing chain, it was very loose. Supposedly, the previous owner had changed both the timing chain and gears. My suspicion is that probably the chain skipped a tooth or more. I guess I'll have to open up the timing cover to check whats going on. I'm going change the gears, timing chain and see if I can install a tensioner on there as well.

If you were out 180 it would back fire out the throttle body. Very notable sound

Yes, it does make a wired sound that comes from the intake when I open the throttle body. When you say "180 out", do you mean 180 out on the distributor or on the timing chain gears?

I was talking about distributor. I don't know if these motors are interference or not so I'm not to fluent on the actually timing chain them selves
