I have a 87 V6 and even though it is carbed, it has a O2 sensor. Its located in the top, back side of the drivers side manifold.

Thank you RalphP but I got back under it Tuesday evening and lo and behold, I found the O2 sensor. It is on the passenger side of the Y and is pointing almost straight up. At first I couldn't see it because it was blocked from view by the pipe itself. It looks like it has been there since new.

Hee! Like I said, passenger side in front of the "Y".

I wish you the best of luck getting it out.

a mixture of atf and acetone works awesome as a penetrating oil, even better than pb blaster (and anything is better than wd40)
