Brake problems
I have a 1996 Dodge Dakota 4x4 that has been giving me little issues since I bought it, but for $700, I guess you can't complain. Now when I bought it I drove it home and I noticed the brakes where alittle spongy, so I thought, i'll just bleed them the next day, and well, I went to open the farthest one to let her bleed, but nothing came out, the pedal worked as normal as if it wasn't even open. So I thought, probably the cylinder, so this was a couple months ago, and now thats its warming out, I am working on it. So lets just say, i've got a rebuild kit, and a new brake line, and cylinder. All replaced on the passenger side, tried bleeding it. Just won't same problem. We took and replaced the master cylinder with, a "new to me" one. Still the same problem. This truck does have the abs system, and I have read around alittle if theres air in the abs module, there ahole lot of complicated **** to do. So I am wondering, should I try to continue to fix this, or bring it into a shop. I have no idea what to do atm. Thanks in advance.
