Default extension housing bushing

I have a 87 4wd 5spd, and I am trying to find an extension housing bushing. The transfer case is a NP207. Anyone know of a good source for this? Thanks.

This is not looking too good. 152 have read the post, yet no one has made any suggestions.

OK, I wanted to add the part numbers that I believe will work.
Chrysler 2801726
ATP TB-12
Napa 14590
Pioneer 755102
old Chrysler no. 2538525
Bryco 49637
PTC BH219

I "think" this is the same for the 231 case as well.

93RT, have you checked Makco transmission parts? They're showing it on their Dodge NP231 parts page here:

http://www.makcotransmissionparts.com/NP231.html

Look down the page under "bearings and washers" for part # 44066. It says this is the NP207 bushing for the tail housing.

Also found a decent write-up on changing out an NP231 tail shaft seal and bushing on the Jeep forum:

Ragged89, thanks for your reply and links.

By using the part numbers above I found a ebay dealer. Paid like $3.87 for the bushing and $6.00 shipping.
FWIW, the difference on the inside dia. was only about .003 but it did help with the viberation I have been having.
I still think that part of my problem is coming from the rear.
I think I have everything to switch it out now, so that is my next adventure!!

I took a few pictures. Thought I took one of the new bushing installed, but its not on my camera, so I guess I did not. I used a socket slightly smaller then the OD of the bushing. With that socket I pressed out the old bushing. Then I used a larger socket and pressed in the new bushing.
I was going to buy a set of bushing drivers, but I did it with my press instead. Not the best but it worked.

Here are a few pictures.

Appreciate the pictures and info on the bushing change RT93. I may find myself doing this at some point in time. I rebuilt my transfer case (NP231) earlier this year but the rebuild kit does not include a tail shaft bushing.

When my truck is complete enough that I can drive it, I'll find out then if I need to replace my tail shaft bushing.
