I have a 91 Dodge Dakota that is stuck in 4 wheel drive and will not disengage what can I do to fix this problem.

Can you tell us more about your pickup? Are you stuck in 4 hi or 4 low?
My truck gets pretty sticky in 4low because its an automatic. I would usually shift into reverse, then into neutral and immediately shift out of 4low.
