I took a 5.2 liter out of my 92 dodge dakota and put a rebuild in.Its a 95 motor. It sat for a year and six months. I started it up and it surges up and down but runs . Gets warm it surges worse, wants to die, I give it gas starts to pop out of exhaust.I checked the timing 3 times it was fine.(starts right up every time)I changed spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, pick up coil, and rotor. I also changed every sensor on throttle body.No vac leaks ether. I took the pvc hose off it ran better but at high idle and still popped out exhaust. So i changed it same thing. When running you put hose back on it dies.Runs better off. I checked the compression it was 75 psi but number 7 it was 80. Someone said it should be 120-140. I did smash a wire that grounded out the motor. So i am going to check the computer next. If anyone can help please do.
