Default Swaping to v8 ecu fitment

Hi im swaping my 95 v6 dak to a v8 360 from a ram
Sst both manual, i need to know if i can use a 95 mopar performance ecu on a 99 360 engine, also for i was reading the pins of the v6 and the v8 on the ecu are the same so i can keep mu wire harness and add to wires for the added to cylinders, its that correct??

Yes it will run it. You will only get one code for a trans temp sensor which Rams had the Dakota's didn't, just use a 1k ohm resistor inline from ground to the correct pcm pin for the trans temp sensor. Yes, the V8 and the V6 pinout is the same minus the extra two injector wires.
