Default P0201 error and bad idle.

Like many of you fine gentlemen I have a problem. I got this P0201 code along with P0202 and replaced the injectors, sparkplugs, TPS, fuel pump and still have rough idle and only code P0201. I noticed the wires were exposed on cylinder 1 and got new one to replace it tonight. I have good compression and a new battery too.

P0201? That's a problem in the injector circuit. Why did you replace all the other stuff?

And you sure it's P0201 not P0301?

What year is your truck, Derrick?

Sir, i drive a 2001 dodge Durango 4.7l At first I was reading the wrong information that lead to many of the things I replaced. I'm sure it's a P0201, bad injector 1, the injector measures correct however the wire connector was frayed a little, according to AllDATA I followed the diagnostic it recommended to replace any frayed or broken wires. I picked up a couple other plugs off the same year I'm going to try tonight. Any ideas?

Sounds good to me.

Might want to post over in the Durango forum, though, to see what someone with that year motor has to say.

(No 4.7s in the 1st Gen Dakota area.)
