I have a 1995 dodge Dakota, 2w, v8 magnum, the fuel pump went out so I bought a new one....only problem is my connector has a double stack pin connector. (Three pins on top of three pins) I have went to every part store within my area and no one sales this. Only four or five pins flat. What am I missing!? Someone plz help....

But, if it was me, I would check with the pump manufacture (on line) verify its the correct pump, and also see if an adapter was supposed to come with it.
Short of that, try another manufacture.

 

Sounds like you were given the wrong pump.

btw does the old pump have any numbers on it? Also could you post a picture of the old pump
