How's everyone doing? I've been on this site studying for the last two weeks finally registered but to the point. I have a 92 Dakota 318 with 46rh tranny 2wd club cab I was having problems with it running good and bad go where it sount like it was on 2cylinders and give it fuel it would die but I fixed that she purrs like a kitten. The problem is the trans fluid is slightly black/clear hint if red smells sweet not burnt but when I go to put it in D or R from park or neutral it tries to die but if I throw it in P/N fast enough it will idle back up and be fine. I can go straight to 1 and go up 2 D and it's fine but once I start moving if I give it gas it locks up and dies. Is this a TC or Rearend? Any help appreciated.
