1988 Dakota 4wd lower control arm bushing

Default 1988 Dakota 4wd lower control arm bushing

I got a 88 Dakota 4x4 that needs lower control arm bushings I can find the upper's but not the lower's . Have any of you guys ever used any from a different year or car/truck ??

I don't have a 4x4 - but what several have done, is to use the 2WD bushings and trim the one that's too long.

I'd suggest swapping to poly (either Energy Suspension or Prothane) while you're replacing them.

Now - disclaimer! I do not own a 4x4, the bushings fit my 2WD just fine, YMMV, TTL extra, results not guaranteed, etc. etc.
