Angry Constantly High Oil Pressure Gauge

So I just had to have my transmission rebuilt. Since it was done, the oil gauge has been maxed out 100% of the time the vehicle is on - even before ignition. I assume they messed a sensor up and will be taking it back for the tranny shop to fix. Any thoughts on why it would be doing this? Is there a relay or fuse specifically for it that could've gone bad?

Attached is a picture of the gauge that is in this position the entire time. Engine has oil.

Mine ran high as the sensor sending unit failed. IDK if the tranny shop can have done anything to it. You don't mention your motor. I have the 94 3.9 and the sending unit is on the top of the motor behind the intake next to the EGR. I think it screws into the intake and I had to buy a special socket for it. It;s black and round about 3inches long sticks straight up and the wires plug into the top. The mating hex surface for the socket is at the bottom of the unit. It wasn't very expensive as I recall. and the socket wasn't either.

Yep, whoops. I am in the 94 3.9 dakota. I also thought it was weird but when I drove it to the shop on Sunday night it was reading fine. Picked it up today and not so much.

Got a better look at it today. Wire leading to the sensor got pinched in the bell housing during reassembly, causing it to ground. Bell housing was loosened, took the wire out, everything is good
