Default Sometimes has no spark...

Hi all,

I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota 4x4 3.9L V6 magnum which sometimes does not get spark. I know it's a spark issue since one day when it did not have spark at a local gas station when I went to leave, a friend of mine happened to show up and had a spark tester and it had no spark. Finally got it started hours later. Sometimes the spark even cuts out while I'm driving but immediately sparks back up after a couple seconds. The main problem is how it sometimes will not start.

- Replaced the coil and that did not fix the issue.

I'm thinking it might be the computer in it but does anyone else have any other ideas?

Thanks!!

Some ideas that come to mind; Check all grounds. Check both battery cables on each end and the battery. The splice in the harness on the driver side fender under the relay box. Any wires that might be shorting. Possibly the ignition switch. Starter solenoid.
