Default Clear Turn Signals

I bought clear turn signals and now need to get bulbs. Has anyone done this and what bulbs do you recommend. I would really like it to look like the new rams led turn signal but I am pretty positive it won't happen. How close can I get?

What year is your truck?

But to recap - try a 1157NA or a 3157NA for an incandescent (use the one that matches what you have - add the NA, Naturally Amber, to the end of the current part number) for now.

There's good LED lamps, there's bad LED lamps.

It's hard to go wrong with units from SuperBrightLEDS.COM or VLEDS.COM ; but there are other good ones also. There's a bunch of crap out there, too ...

No after market tail lights huh? Then what are these on my truck?

Here's a different set that's on my truck now:

As for the bulbs, use 1157na incadesent bulbs. You won't get the look you want with an led bulb. And with an led bulb you'll have to run and led flasher and it still won't look any different then my truck does.

Also, theres a crap ton of aftermarket headlights that'll fit your truck, if you switch to the 91 sealed beam set up. But you probably won't want to do that from the vibe I'm getting from you.

Well I have never found those tailights before so you got me there. They are nice but just not my style. If I put an incandescent bulb in will the orange show through the clear head light when it isn't on?

Not unless you're right up on it.

Boogles my mind though how you could like clear corner lights and turn signals but not clear taillights.

Out of curiosity did you get the full clear reflector corners or do they have an orange reflector in them?

Again with the headlights, look on eBay for 4x6 headlights. All of the results can fit your truck.

No, but they will be the required amber while operating.

*sez the guy with clear turn signals on his 1988*

And actually, no, they will NEVER show through the clear head light; they show through the turn signal (which is where they go). Headlights are to be white, not amber, not red, and most definately NOT blue!

Calm down own. No need to attack anyone. I'm just trying to clarify so I know what I'm going to get.
