Hello everyone, this forum has saved my bacon many times so I thank all of you very much!
It's driving me crazy, but none of my manuals can tell me what this kinked, dry-rotten hose is coming off my passenger side header is and it's driving me nuts!
What is this roached hose coming off my header???

You don't mention Model/Year, but if it's off the exhaust manifold, it's probably the EGR hose.

Looks like the EGR tube.

Its the EGR tube. It bolts to the manifold, then threads into the back of the intake, next to the Dist. Have fun removing it without breaking the bolts. On mine, we just cut it off on each end, left about 3 inches of pipe, crimped it and then welded it shut.

 

I try at least twice a month.... sonofa!! lol
