Default 95 dakota 2.5l cuts out and died while driving

I bought this truck a few days ago and its been
running strong, until yesterday. We adjusted the
idle because it was idleing at 1200rpms. Well we
took it down as low as it could go.and it sat and
idled for a.good 10 minutes. Then drove it to the
store, it did fine. Let it sit for a coupke hours then I
drove it home about 15 min drive, I was on the
freeway and it started cutting out. It didnt throw
any codes until it died while I was going 45 mph, it
shiwed the Check engine light. Normal when
the.truck is off. Well I pulled over into a parking lot
and tried starting it up, it wouldn't start. So I sat
there for about 15 minutes and tried it again, it
started. But kept dieing. So I adjusted the idle and
messed with some stuff to see if it was loose and
what ever it was, the truck started and I made it
home but at arriving home the truck started cutting
out again. I also noticed some oil on the side of the
engine by my spark plug, dont kniw what that is
either.. I dont kniw what it could be so any help
would be amazing!

The YouTube video linked shows how to, Nicole1221.

But since it's not a hot link, here's a hot link:

(I think the HTTPS: messed up the automatic hot linking, but eh.)

Ok its throwing a code 12, looked it up and it just says direct battery input to PCM was disconnected. Does that mean anything?

It just means that someone removed the neg cable on the battery within the last 50 or 100 starts. It should also throw a 55 which means end of codes.
