Default 1996 factory service manual

Is a 1996 2wd 4wd factory service manual good for a 1995 dakota?

Yes and no. Depends on what part; electronically, the 1996 is almost completely different (switched from SBEC to JTEC; switched from OBD to OBDII; added the downstream O2 sensors; automatics went fully electronic in 1996, whereas they were hydraulically controlled for all but OD and lockup in 1995; etc.) Most of the chassis stuff stayed the same.
