Anyone have a good idea for replacing the foam that seals the hood hinges around the cowl? Mine are toast. Would this be a better application of closed cell or open cell foam? Thickness? This company has reasonable prices on sheets, but don't know if I need polyethylene, polyurethane, pvc, etc.

See if a dealer or body shop can tell you what the OE materiel is. I can't imagine that your link would not work. I just pressed on mine and its hard but it gives. Figuring for age its still pretty good shape.
