Cool 90 Dakota needs more clearance

I have a 1990 Dodge Dakota 3.9 automatic 2 wheel drive and I live off-grid and my truck seems to hit even the smallest rocks like 2 or 3 inches tall. What kind of lift would be recommended and possible problems with having to modify anything in the process? Also having problems getting to the oil pan to snug uthe bolts without dismantling a bunch of stuff.

For lift options did you read through the FAQ thread? There is information and links in there for 2WD lifts.

For the oil pan the only thing in the way that I can think of on my 94 is the Y pipe. The last guy beat the crap out of it top get access. I have replaced it and not tried to drop the pan since I replaced the Y but it looks like I could do it without having to take anything else apart. I would get some swivel knuckles for your socket set or use open end wrenches and try to be patient.
